Weekly Announcements – 8 April 2024

1. Engine’s Class: Tuesdays from 1900 to 2100 hrs (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM) at the Shop (address has been provided to cadets attending class). Dress is comfortable civilian attire. 2. Drill Team(Mandatory for all Team Members)- Thursdays from 1800 to 1930 hrs (6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). Dress is weather appropriate comfortable civilian attire but bring your boots and wedge. You will be marching outside.  Contact Capt Siekierko (This email address is being protected from spambots. 3. Band (Mandatory for all Team Members)- Thursdays, from 1930 to 2100 hrs (7:30 PM to 9:00PM) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). 4. Spring Tagging– Friday April 12 6PM-9PM, Saturday April 13 9AM-12PM (AM Shift) &/or 1PM-4PM (PM Shift).  Sign up on squadron’s closed Facebook page and in email circulated to parents from SSC.  All junior cadets and new recruits are expected to participate in a minimum of one (1) shift. Senior cadets are expected for a minimum of two (2) shifts. 5. Level 1 & 2 (Mandatory) Workshop –Sunday April 14, 2024 0830 to 1200 (8:30 AM to 12:00 PM) the Armoury (91 Todd Rd. Georgetown). Warning Order and sign-up form posted on squadron’s closed Facebook page and Cadet 365 Teams (General).  Sign up form will require the use of Cadet 365 accessand is only recording food sensitivities as all Level 1 & 2s are to be in attendance for this activity. Contact  Black (This email address is being protected from spambots. 6. Absence Request Form- Please fill out the Absence Request Form beforehand, if you are going to be absent for any activities. This must be completed NLT (no later than) noon of a parade night, for us to update the absentee list. If not, you may get a phone call regardless. 7. CADET365- This is the primary online platform we use to communicate with Cadets, distribute files and paperwork, publish the Squadron Calendar, etc. All cadets MUST log into, and update your passwords, for Cadet365 if you have not done so. Next Parade Night

NOTE: We are on Holiday STAND DOWN until January 2024.

Next parade night is Monday 8 January 2024 at 6:30 PM and is a Regular Parade Night. Dress is Field Training Uniforms (FTUs) or white dress shirt, black tie, black pants, black socks and shoes; if you have not been issued a uniform yet

This is a mandatory night for all cadets. If you are unable to attend, you must submit an Absence Request (available to registered web site users only). The request must be sent by noon of a Parade night. 

• Consult the CJCR Orders of Dress if you have any questions on uniform and dress, including grooming (hair, beards, etc).
• Parents are encouraged to attend Closing Announcements in person at 2045 hrs (8:45 pm).
